Taste partnered with wedding planner guru Jubilee Lau and Floral Studio Chestnut and Vine to create this stunning, classically inspired wedding for Vivien and Derrick.

Taste's first wedding at Treasure Island's Pavilion by the Bay was a spectacular success. Paul and Todd were married in a romantic ceremony on the Great Lawn overlooking the stunning San Francisco skyline. Afterwards, their guests were invited next door to the Pavilion by the Bay for dinner and dancing (featuring a live performance from jazz singer Paula West!). Paul and Todd, who were entertaining mostly out of town guests, wanted the reception to have a comfortable, approachable feel while maintaining the integrity of the momentous occasion they were celebrating; Taste designed a menu to match! We settled on a variety of small plate, chef attended action stations that guests could visit throughout the evening while mingling, dancing and enjoying the performance.

Lindsea and Joel filled the Flood Mansion with 180 of their friends and family to celebrate their wedding. The ceremony in the courtyard featured a simple wood and linen Chuppah adorned with springtime green and white blooms designed by Taste's in-house floral team Afterwards, guests were invited inside for a cocktail reception in the Adam and Duchene Rooms, a casual but elegant family style dinner in the Great Hall and dancing and cake in the Reception Room.

This wedding was so magical to see come together. Cheryl, a middle school principal, and Vivek, Silicon Valley laser engineer by day (standup comic by night), wanted to host a wedding that embraced Vivek's vibrant and spicy Indian culture but was also sensitive to the mid-western palates of Cheryl's family. Taste's entire team came together to design this unique wedding of blended cultures - from floral and event design, menu customization, day of coordination service and contracting white horses, Dohl Drummers and entertainment - this wedding is a great example of Taste's full service planning and event design capabilities. We worked diligently with the city for permitting to allow a white horse, drummers and 200 guests parade through Music Concourse Drive for the Barat Ceremony; a traditional Indian wedding ceremony where the groom arrives via white stead to meet his bride.

Check out this simple and sweet wedding at City Hall , catered and designed by Taste. Taste's in-house floral department crafted bouquets and centerpieces of vibrant purples and magentas for pops of color against grey bridesmaids dresses and the neutral palate of City Hall. A warm, crystal clear day served as the setting for Sarah and Gus' special day at the beautiful Thomas Fogarty Winery . The couple exchanged vows on the hillside lawn, savored Taste's culinary creations and Fogarty's award winning wines in the open air Pavilion, and danced the night away in the Hill House. Taste partnered with Every Elegant Detail and Amy Burke Designs to create this cheerful and elegant event.

Kelly and Rider held their ceremony at the iconic St. Vincent de Paul Church. They wanted to incorporate some garden elements of the outdoors into their overall design and decided on the San Francisco Film Centre as the setting to bring this vision to life. Guests enjoyed a variety of hors d'oeuvres on the outdoor veranda and dined on Taste's impressive selection of entrees and wedding cake.

We at Taste Catering love weddings at the De Young museum. The venue is stunning and can be used in many different capacities to best suite your guest count and style.

Stanford University graduates, Helen and Walter, married at City Hall in an elegant, black-tie event. Though the playful side of the couple was evident throughout in subtle details. The bride floated down the aisle to "Dreams" by the Cranberries, they had a dessert buffet filled with mini versions of things and a bar full of colorful assorted specialty and obscure sodas. Ever had Waialua Pineapple Soda?

Emily and Paul's whimsical and magical carnival inspired wedding stayed true to theme from beginning to end - complete with butterflies, balloons, carnival games, prizes, a ferris wheel, cotton candy and carnival "cuisine", the event drew the inner child delight from every guest. Taste worked with event planner, Trisha Dean to create a unique and cohesive "true to theme" design concept and guest experience. This wedding is the perfect example of a stellar vendor team coming together to ensure no detail is forgotten.

The Flood Mansion provides the perfect dramatic, yet neutral, backdrop for this striking "red" themed wedding. We incorporated red details throughout the menu to compliment. From a red Serrano chile to garnish the specialty cocktail, to red trays to pass hors d'oeuvres, to a wedding cake filled with red raspberries and red-hot candies on the dessert buffet - this was certainly a wedding filled with love and passion!

Sometimes less is more and these glorious details photos from Kate Webber prove it! Dagny and Corey wed at Dagny's family home (and winery) in Healdsburg. This wedding was so simple, yet impactful, and like many of our brides and grooms, a fantastic meal was the #1 priority….Feast your eyes on these gorgeous food photos!

Ines and Michael exchanged their vows in an intimate ceremony in the Court of Honor and then celebrated with 100 of their nearest and dearest with a reception in the Rodin Galleries. Guests were treated to culinary surprises throughout the evening including hand-churned Billecart Salmon Rose Sorbet to accompany freshly shucked oysters and a patisserie boutique to satisfy the most ambitious sweet tooth.

When it came to planning their wedding, Annie and Anthony wanted to combine their modern aesthetics with traditional classic elements on their big day. Golden Gate park offered the best of both worlds with Shakespeare Garden and the de Young Museum. The historic surroundings in Shakespeare Garden provide the perfect backdrop for an intimate ceremony. Guests then made their way to the de Young Museum where they dined on a variety of Taste's exemplary dishes and danced the night away on the outdoor terrace. Anna Nguyen Photography captured all the magic in the evening's festivities.

Only in the Bay Area does a summery, garden wedding (it was 85 degrees) happen in September. The weather was perfection for this all outdoor wedding with crystal clear views of the Tiburon bay. Angie, who is originally from South Africa and Flavio, who is originally from Brazil, married their two cultures with hints of things from home….Guests enjoyed Kiwi Caipirnha's and Cashews spiced with Peri Peri. Protea, South Africa's national flower, adorned the chuppah, buffet and was prominent in Angie's bridal bouquet. And hors d'oeuvres were inspired by Brazil's costal, tropical cuisine such as Sugarcane Tuna Skewers with Rum Glaze and Mojo Sauce.

This elegant and dramatic wedding set against the backdrop of the wild things at the California Academy of Sciences began with passed hors d'oeuvres in Golden Gate Park's Shakespeare Garden, continued into the Rainforest and Aquarium and concluded with dinner and dancing in African Hall for 200 guests. Taste partnered with Wedding Planner Jess Flood and Floral Designer Hunt Littlefield to create this elegant affair.

This wedding was visually stunning and emotionally impactful from start to finish. The elegant grandness of the Bently Reserve, formal multi-course dinner, architectural all white callas and orchids filling the room, abundant dessert buffet and two flavors of wedding cake for guests all contributed to the black-tie affair. But for us, the most memorable aspect, was the feeling of love that radiated throughout the evening. Emily and Alexis are high school sweethearts and this wedding day was long anticipated by both brides and their supportive families and friends. Taste proudly participated in this same sex wedding and are in love with these beautiful brides! #MarriageEquality.

Taste's in-house floral team created the stunning and dramatic florals for this elegant wedding ceremony and reception at the Legion of Honor.

Lily and David hosted a wedding celebration with 250 of their nearest and dearest at their family estate in Ross. A home where Taste Catered the Bride’s parents wedding 30 years prior. The wedding design was inspired by David’s Parisian upbringing and Lily’s love for all things vintage, especially the 1930’s.We 'married' these personal interests by transforming the event space into "Paris in the 1930’s" through music, dinner service, bistro lights and décor props.

Taste partnered with the uber talented event and floral designer Jess Flood for this fun, urban winery wedding. Over 300 guests took in the stunning cityscape from the Great Lawn for the ceremony, cocktailed and played bocce ball on the water beneath the Bay Bridge, then moved inside the Winery SF for a family style dinner of Double Cut Grilled Pork Chops and dancing into the night.
