Hello, I’m Billy Cook, the Executive Designer of Taste's Décor and Floral Department. Whether I’m hunting for the perfect ribbon for a bouquet, setting a flawless table, drafting menus, or selecting lounge furniture and props to fill out a room, I’m inspired and impassioned by my surroundings. I believe that inspiration and passion are infectious, and one of the things I enjoy most is consulting with brides and grooms and sharing the excitement about their upcoming wedding.
As head of the Décor Department, I use my savvy, experience and established relationships with venues and vendors throughout the Bay Area to help me bring your vision to fruition. With over 13 years in the events industry, I’ve worked on hundreds of events under the city’s top designers and also produced scores of weddings of my own design. I’m especially proud of our team of skilled florists in our floral studio, where we design and produce all floral décor for Taste. I bring expert knowledge of current industry trends, as well as intimate touches to personalize an informal rehearsal dinner or a grand and complex reception.
A number of my weddings and events have been featured in 7x7 Magazine, California Home and Design Magazine and the SF Chronicle. Some of the annual public events that I’ve designed are the annual Meals On Wheels Star Chefs and Vinters Gala, Elle Décor’s Dining By Design, Macy’s Passport and the Macy’s Union Square Flower Show.
