Taste’s executive designer, Billy Cook, went all out for HBO to create the ultimate Game of Thrones event experience. Guests were greeted by elaborate costumed creatures, Dark n’ Stormy specialty cocktails and feasted on foods fit for kings such as: the ‘House Baratheon’ Skewer Station, Dragon’s Repast Buffet of Carrot and Sheep Ricotta Ravioli, Meatballs and Black Kale Salad, and a "King’s Landing" Midnight Plate of Braised Beef Short Ribs. The evening finished with an array of sweets – Sansa’s Lemon Cakes, Night’s Watch Pecan Pies and the Lannister’s Sinful Chocolate Cremeaux, all handcrafted by Taste’s executive pastry chef, Rick Griggs.

To celebrate Taste’s growing event design team and partnership with the newly renovated Walt Disney Family Museum, we invited our friends, clients and partners to experience the latest culinary and event design trends. Under the vision of Executive Designer Billy Cook, each food station, featuring dinner, desserts and specialty cocktails, were cohesively intertwined to utilize the full space of the unique venue; each of Taste’s event designers adapted a theme inspired by the life and creations of Walt Disney.

One of our favorite pastimes here at Taste is dreaming up ways to bring a party theme to life through creative food and beverage (in both menu items and presentation), entertainment, décor, lighting and design, so that every touch point for a guest, they experience the theme. Here is a snapshot from one holiday party for a prominent tech company and their 2,000 employees.

What better place to celebrate innovation and science than with Medivation at the Exploratorium? At this fun and interactive Winter Celebration, guests explored the exhibits, witnessed Taste’s expert chefs filet a whole yellowfin tuna and shuck Tomales Bay oysters, while they quenched their thirst with experimental "high carbon cocktails" and smoking Pisco Sours.
